About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reception Duties (greeting clients, attending phone calls, and email)

  • Appointment Scheduling

  • Patient Intake (Assist new patients with registration)

  • Billing and Payments, including processing insurance claims and following up on outstanding accounts.

  • Administrative Support to physiotherapists and other staff, including preparing patient files, handling correspondence, and managing office supplies.

  • Record Keeping (Maintain patient records in compliance with privacy and confidentiality regulations).

  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between patients and physiotherapists, conveying messages and information as needed.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or related field is a plus.


Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and experience with scheduling software.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and billing processes.


Good to Have:

  • Experience in a physiotherapy or medical office setting.

  • Knowledge in SQL system

  • Familiarity with insurance billing and coding.

  • Previous experience in a front desk or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
